Halloween Party ideas “Mummy” downloads. This Halloween category started off with a simple mummy image and the ideas started to grow and grow. It started with an empty soup can. I wanted to come up with a mummy Halloween homemade party favor idea and I also wanted it to be a name place settings at my Halloween dinner table. I ended up spray painting empty soup cans. I collected them through the month. I was a little leery of the sharp edges on the cans and so I wrapped green duct tape around the top of each can. I then tore one inch strips of muslin pieces and wrapped them around the green cans. I tied the muslin together at the ends. I printed off mummy images that had a place to put everyone’s name. I hot glued the images onto Popsicle sticks and glued them to the front of each can. I filled the cans full of Halloween candies and treats and placed them at everyone’s place. I love making name place settings so that people know exactly where they are supposed to sit. From there we came up with many more Halloween party ideas. More ideas included Halloween gift ideas. For this idea we bought Pringle cans. We designed a mummy image to wrap around the cans. The cans can be filled with three inch cookies or fudge or any fun Halloween treat idea. These turned out to be a pretty frightening attraction in our Halloween display of goodies. We made a themed Halloween count down calendar to start the whole month of with and I sent one to each of the grand kids. I filled each pocket with a fun treat and each day a treat can be eaten and it’s that much closer to the haunting day.
