In our family we like to make things competitive and we always have the adults play even if they are kid games.  Adults playing kid games is hilarious and we have had some pretty fun times.  Easter egg hunts are no exception.  Every year I have adult men running around trying to find Easter baskets and eggs.  I love it. Because we have adults participating  I  like to switch up our Easter Egg Hunts by putting money or  IOU’s (i.e., I owe you a pair of shoes etc.) in the eggs.  This makes our hunts especially competitive and crazy.

In this Easter games Olympic version of the traditional treasure hunt family members find eggs and after finding an egg each person has to follow the instruction inside the egg before they can look for another egg.  If kids are playing that can’t read then they can pair up with an adult (kid finds the egg and dad does the activity).   There are only fourteen different activities so copy off as many  labels as you have eggs.  There will be several duplicates, but that is part of the fun.  Somebody may get three eggs in a row that each say do 10 push-ups.  They end up doing 30 push-ups.  The idea is to have as much fun and craziness as you can handle.   This is really fun to do as a whole family.  Have a reward for the person that has the most eggs.
